St. Patrick's Day Dinner

For Saint Patrick’s day, there will be a pot luck dinner at 7pm but at 6:30pm, before pot luck, for $1 you can kiss the Blarney stone prior to the corned beef & Cabbage💋💋💋.

What is the Blarney Stone? The word “blarney,” meaning skillful flattery or nonsense. The actual Blarney Stone itself is a bluestone that was built into the battlements of Blarney Castle in 1446. The only way to get to the stone was to climb countless flights of stairs within Blarney Castle. Once we arrived at the top of the castle, we were faced with the difficult, fear-inducing task of kissing the stone. You must lie flat on your back, scooch to the edge of the castle, lean over backwards on the parapet's edge (with the help of an assistant), and reach as far as we possibly could to kiss the stone.

One might ask, why put yourself through all of this? That's easy. It's all about embracing your roots, facing your fears...and of course, once you kiss the stone, you're bestowed the gift of eloquence
